Dust is accumulated on the surface of the solar panels on a daily basis resulting in efficiency loss. Considering the high cost of water based manual cleaning,the panels are not being cleaned frequently enough. This results in an average efficiency loss of upto 6% for solar installations on commercial and industrial rooftops. The process of cleaning solar panels on large commercial rooftops is considered dangerous and needs the person to wear personal safety arrest and follow other protocols required while working at a height.
Our product Zero’ is a waterless solar panel cleaning robot built for commercial and industrial rooftops. Daily cleaning with the robot allows the solar plant to generate electricity at its peak efficiency.
The product consists of 3 elements. The cleaning robot, an edge device to connect with the internet and a web based dashboard to operate the robots from a remote location.

Advantages of our technology：
A single robot is able to clean upto 1500 panels autonomously on a daily basis without water. Daily cleaning eludes the development of hot spots which can permanently damage a solar panel.
The robot runs along the solar panels and cleans them with a nylon brush rotating at high speed. The edge device which is installed on the site acts as a gateway. The dashboard is hosted on a central server which connects with the robot through the gateway to provide control and operational parameters like battery charge, cleaning speed, usage history and important logs to support remote service and maintenance activities. The robot is integrated with on site weather sensors and solar inverters to assist smart scheduling for optimal cleaning cycles and to auto initiate the safety protocols in case of an emergency.
