Overview：
We design and manufacture automated systems for battery research, development and production quality control. Our core product is an automated battery test cell assembly and sealing system.

Advantages of our technology：
Building battery test cells is currently entirely done by hand, it is unreliable and expensive. The Cellerate System builds these cells automatically using our patented alignment and validation technology, letting companies and research groups reliably build high quality cells for battery research and production quality control. Our system reduces the amount of testing required for gathering reliable insights by up to 40% which translates into both cost and time savings.

The Cellerate system is extremely compact and can be directly added to current battery material development and quality control workflows. It is flexible and is used for many different battery types, from highly novel post-lithium chemistries, to ensuring material quality control standards are kept at giga-factories.

Our business model：
We design and manufacture automated systems for battery research and production quality control. Our system is modular and currently contains three core modules, we have seen demand for an extra 4 modules to be designed and sold. Alongside this we design and sell consumables for our own line of advanced test cell formats which accelerate advanced battery material development.

We have recently been awarded a UK BEIS(UK government - Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy) grant to develop an automated production line for bespoke battery cells; this line offers the flexibility for multiple business models such as bespoke cell manufacturing through our digital manufacturing platform and to partner with customers to scale-up innovations. We also have opportunities to licence cell manufacturing process technologies which underpin mass production of next generation technologies.

Our sales are generally business-to-business including academic organisations.
